What is EPIC?

One of the most exciting things to come from Inscape Publishing is a new product platform called EPIC (Electronic Profile Information Center). EPIC provides a simple way to deliver a variety of profiles via the Internet. Here's how it works: from a PC, you'll have access to all of the online profiles. Someone can administer access codes that allow people to complete the assessments online. Once a respondent finishes answering the questions, the resulting report goes to the respondent, you or whoever is designated - you decide!

Products available on EPIC (Sample reports are available on pages of the specific profiles):

  • Coping and Stress Profile: Learners gain important insights into how stress in one life area impacts other areas, how coping resources in one area can be used to decrease stress in another, and how stress, coping resources and overall life satisfaction are closely related.

  • DiSC Indra (only available online): An in-depth relationship assessment process that uses an expanded DiSC to help people understand and improve relationships at work.
  • Discovering Diversity Profile®: A confidential, discovery tool that allows individuals to explore their own viewpoints on workforce diversity in four key areas: knowledge, understanding, acceptance and behavior.
  • Personal Listening Profile®: Designed to help people understand their preferred listening styles, develop an appreciation for other styles, and adapt their behavior to enhance communication and improve relationships.
  • Team Dimensions Profile®: Helps individuals work from their strengths by identifying their most natural team role, while giving them added appreciation for the contributions of others.
  • Time Mastery Profile®: A complete assessment tool that helps individuals set priorities and manage time by evaluating their effectiveness in 12 critical areas.
  • Work Expectations Profile®: Helps people identify their high expectations and then learn how to communicate those expectations, take initiative to get them met, and adjust them when necessary.
Use EPIC Credits For All Profiles

The EPIC platform uses "credits" to purchase the profiles/reports. Each credit is $3.10, and 10 credits are needed for most individual reports. For Indra, an individual report is 15 credits, a dyad report is 8 credits, and a group report is 15 credits. A great benefit of EPIC is that the credits are interchangeable among all the online EPIC products! There is a one-time fee of $150 to set up a corporate EPIC Online Account.

IDXREADY SELF-CONTAINED TRAINING PROGRAMS (uses EPIC credits)

idXready Programs are the first training and development programs that are designed to integrate and synchronize all aspects of the learning experience, from participant pre-work and an ONLINE ASSESSMENT, to individualized workbooks; from rich video assets imbedded into professional PowerPoint, to proven processing activities. By incorporating validated research-based assessments into participant workbooks, idXready Programs allow you to deliver training at an individual level, making your business and people skills training a vital part of your organization's learning strategy. These programs use EPIC credits.

  • idXready: Improving Your Listening Skills V2.0: Recognize the importance of developing good listening skills by reflecting on their past listening experiences. Discover the five different listening approaches used in communication and the specific characteristics of each approach.

The EPIC system also offers advanced functionality that permits system administrators to track various activities, including their system use and the number of profiles completed. Through EPIC, administrators can also view, print, or email completed reports, as the system maintains an archive of completed profiles.

Introduce deeper levels of interpretation through the EPIC platform. The EPIC system offers reports and features not available on Inscape Publishing's paper profiles ranging from composite group reports from data stored in the system, providing an analysis of team dynamics even as teams change.
