C. MICHAEL FERRARO IS CO-CHAIR FOR THE THIRD YEAR OF THE HR LEADERSHIP AWARDS OF GREATER WASHINGTON

C. Michael Ferraro continues as co-chair for this year's annual HR Leadership Awards of Greater Washington, which will be held on June 8, 2004 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Washington, DC. Darrell Green is the keynote speaker and will speak to the event's theme, Building the Team of the Future.

The HR Leadership Awards of Greater Washington recognizes and honors outstanding Hr leaders who have made significant contributions to the human resources profession throughout the greater Washington, DC, area.

For the 2004 event, over 600 people have registered. The program will present six awards: four for Human Resources Professional Excellence (large commercial, small commercial, government and non-profit organizations), one for Ethics and one for Community Service/Corporate Social Responsibility. Three scholarships will also be awarded to current and aspiring HR professionals pursuing a Human Resources Management graduate or undergraduate degree at participating universities.
