Carlson Learning Company attracts new financial/business partner and changes
name to Inscape Publishing.
Carlson Learning Company, the world's leader in DiSC® learning resources,
has announced that The Riverside Company, in participation with Carlson
Learning Company senior management, has purchased Carlson Learning Company
from Carlson Companies, Inc. The Riverside Company is a private equity
investor based in New York, Cleveland, and San Francisco, specializing in
financing the growth of successful, high-potential companies who are clear
leaders in their market.
Thomas Ritchey, President of Carlson Learning Company, stated "I am
enthusiastically committed to going forward with my staff and with a
well-funded partner whose sole interest is helping us achieve our next
significant level of growth."
Riverside's equity investment and ongoing financial support will allow
Carlson Learning Company management and staff to strategically accelerate
growth as the world's leading independent publisher of research-based,
