C. Michael Ferraro, an industry expert in the publicly funded workforce system recently spoke at the ASTD International Conference and Exposition in Washington, DC. His two sessions were:

"You're On Your Own, Now What? Challenges Facing Independent Consultants"

"Building a Working Partnership with the Publicly Funded Workforce System"

C. Michael Ferraro is the President/CEO of TRAINING SOLUTIONS, Inc. The company formed in 1995; and since that time, this professional development training and HR/workforce consulting firm has steadily grown to now include a team of 10 additional consultants. Michael serves and has served on many business and community boards in Virginia, including the State Workforce Board during the Warner administration, Northern Virginia Technology Council board, NVTC TechPac, ASTD Program Committee, Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce, Marymount University's Board of Visitors and Goodwill of Greater Washington. He is currently a consultant to the ASTD Public Policy Council.
