Steve Arneson, Ph.D. |
Steve was recently named one of the Top 100 thought leaders in leadership and one of the Top 25 leadership coaches by Leadership Excellence magazine.
Steve provides executive talent management, coaching and leadership development solutions to corporations
and nonprofit organizations. He has been a senior executive coach for 15 years and is accredited by the International Coaching
Federation. Through the power of coaching, Steve believes that leaders uncover hidden strengths and areas for improvement that
can make a huge difference in their lives and the lives of those around them. He, in essence, believes that coaching enables the
gift of self-discovery, insight and change.
Steve coaches leaders with a bias toward actionable results, partnering with the client to identify strengths and opportunities, then crafting and executing a plan to move the leader to a higher level of performance. Steve was most recently SVP, Executive Talent Management and Development for Capital One. Prior to Capital One, Steve served as VP of Organization Effectiveness for America Online and as Vice President of People Development for Time Warner Cable.
Susan Baker |
Susan is a skilled recruiter, trainer and project manager. She has a proven record of increasing organizational
effectiveness by creative strategic planning and training, as well as the ability to recruit top talent. Susan has worked with
companies to assess their human resources challenges and provide powerful solutions for success.
Currently, Susan serves as Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) project manager for the Commonwealth of Virginia. She also conducts recruiting and training for several local government contracting firms.
Susan currently serves on the Advisory Board for Career and Technical Education for Governor Kaine in Virginia. She also served as a business advisor for President Bush's High Tech Growth Jobs Initiative.
Marshall Brown |
Marshall Brown, PCC, is an executive and career coach and a personal brand strategist, certified by the International Coach Federation and Career Coaches Institute.
He was the director of the Greater Washington Society of Association Executives' career services center for many years and has been
an independent consultant for six years.
Marshall has developed a personalized "no nonsense" approach to getting people at all levels to focus on career direction, performance improvement and becoming a more effective leader. This approach is the foundation for Marshall's unique and highly effective brand of executive and career coaching. Marshall also offers customized improvement programs for employees and member volunteers that fit the unique needs of each client. He is the past board president of the Washington, D.C. Chapters of both the International Coach Federation and the Association of Career Professionals International. Freddi's expertise as a coach and a trainer is focused on increasing effectiveness and performance by decreasing stress. Working with
either small groups or individuals, Freddi uses a conversational assessment tool which elicits language patterns that uncover the
thinking styles of the individual or group and then guides them through a learning process based on their comfort level. Freddi taps into
her years of communication skills (corporate marketing and business development), her certification in Neuro Linguistic Programming, and
her coaching certifications (Body Conscious Coaching and Wellness Inventory Coach) to draw out fears, concerns, and unidentified blocks
that hold people back from their full potential.

Sal Ferraro |
Sal is a sales and sales management professional who has held various executive positions in both the manufacturing and service sectors.
His 25 years of experience includes sales strategy, sales process development, sales process improvement, sales force automation,
recruiting, training and coaching. He has had both domestic and international responsibility, and has worked for large as well as small
companies. He has extensive experience selling to the highest levels within organizations, and has negotiated many multi-million dollar
contracts.
For the last 10 years, Sal was a partner at AGA Marketing and Design, a full-service advertising agency and promotional products company. In addition to general management responsibilities, he was responsible for new business activities for the agency, which had 125 employees, New York and London offices, and revenues in excess of $50 million. Company profitability improved dramatically during his tenure, and ultimately he and his partners sold the business in three separate transactions. Sal played an integral role in the process of selling the company. His clients benefit from his passion about sales and his ability to quickly grasp the nuances of their business. He is an asset to a management team of a small to mid- sized company who is looking to sell or find an equity partner for their business.
Allison Johnson |
Allison has an extensive national and international background in human relations and equal opportunity management consulting and training.
She has represented the Department of Defense, U.S. State Department and the Department of Army on numerous occasions in meetings and consulting
activities. Allison is a former Director of International Affairs for the Department of Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute. She
recently joined the University of Phoenix "on ground" adjunct faculty team and teaches human relations for the Department of Psychology at Northern
Virginia Community College, Alexandria Campus.
Allison has worked with organizations such as Monsanto, Cingular, FBI, FDIC, Department of Justice and the National Society of Human Resource Management. She is often asked to speak about success, professionalism and motivation because of her dynamic personality, high-energy training sessions and her "never quit attitude."

Laura Martin has over 18 years of diverse business, consulting and training experience, working with organizations across the US and Europe.
Laura has developed and delivered training for such clients as InAgra (a DuPont company), Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Johnson and Johnson, Fleet
Bank, Dendrite, and Keep America Beautiful. Early in her career, Laura served in retail operations and training for Franklin Covey, consistently
achieving Presidents Club status for sales excellence, exceeding revenue and profit forecast by at least 20% all three years.
Laura's high energy, down to earth approach to training makes her classes fun and engaging for all levels of learners. Her design and delivery experience spans topics through the entire performance management process. In addition, she has created and implemented customized programs for sales training, customer service, marketing, team building and strategic planning. Laura also has extensive experience working with community and non-profit boards across the US to form effective teams and create strategic plans.

Beth's experience includes include management of programs and projects through their life cycle from assessment to evaluation;
development of measurement, assessment and survey tools to guide organizational initiatives; design of creative, impactful learning
solutions and career paths for employees, managers, leaders and trainers working at all levels of the organization; facilitation of
focus groups and training sessions with all audience levels; creation of proposals and tools to measure the quality of responses;
and planning and direction of policy, objectives and initiatives for non-profit and corporate organizations.
Beth currently manages programs and initiatives for organizations including the District of Columbia Students Construction Trades Foundation, the Northern Virginia Workforce Investment Board, and Associated Builders and Contractors

She is also a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). With over 25 years of progressive human resource, corporate training
and coaching experience, Melanie is uniquely qualified to guide teams, workgroups and executives through challenging situations and toward
greater success.
Melanie's passion and commitment energizes the coaching process and helps to facilitate positive personal and organizational changes that her clients truly value. She is on the faculty of the George Mason University's Office of Continuing Professional Development and an instructor for the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM).
